Lesson 7 Lowlights Catching Things at Point Easy Versus Point Difficult

Sometimes we don’t think it is a big deal.  Often it is not.  We also don’t like to talk about what went wrong.  However, sometimes to understand where we are the strongest, it can be helpful to understand where we are most challenged.

Also, the sooner we catch something, the easier it is to course correct to get back to where we hoped to be, point easy.  Often the longer we leave it, the trickier it can become, point difficult or crisis.  If you can catch things earlier and save yourself 1% of your time over the course of a year this equals 20 hours’ worth of rework e.g., say a direct report is late to work by 15 minutes that then becomes 30 minutes, that then becomes an hour. See the Point Easy vs P0int Difficult Diagram on Page 9 of your Black Workbook.
